There were a couple of you who expressed interest in my pony quilt ([link]). I am finally ready to part with it, and wanted to offer it here first. If none of my friends/watchers are interested in it, I will then move on to the MLP Arena & TP to sell it, where I intend to hold a silent auction.

I will keep the offer open here until Monday morning (or whenever a deal is made - whichever comes first). I am asking $175 for residents of the US and $195 to anyone outside the US. This includes shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation.

Payment must be made via money order or personal check - and I will ship once payment clears.

I have some pictures of my current WIP project, that I wanted to share with everyone, but unfortunately, my computer no longer recognizes my camera as a supported device. And I was told by the manufacturer it was due to the the stupid multi-function printer I installed (and uninstalled two weekends ago). And unfortunately, there is no patch to fix it without reinstalling Windows. I HATE Microsoft. I wonder if my hubby would be mad if I installed Red Hat.... So, I'm going to try to stop by the store tonight or tomorrow and pick up a card reader. Then I'll share my pics.

I'll give you a hint... It's pink, purple, green, yellow, blue and gray.

I really thought this would be the year that I would get to take my daughter to the MLP Fair. But it's not looking good. I sold a bunch of ponies back near Christmas in hopes to use that money to buy plane tickets. But, alas, I had to use it to pay for an emergency room visit. I thought about driving, but I don't know if I can go the 12 hours - just my daughter and I. The idea of driving around NYC without a navigator scares me, and my husband can't go. I don't like the idea of car-pooling, either, since I'm taking my daughter. Luckily, I didn't tell her that I was thinking about going, or she would be really bummed too. I guess there's always next year...

What I'm working on...

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to quilt my cloud 9 patch quilt myself - or pay to have it done. I've got to get over to the quilt shop to see how much they charge to quilt it.

Then I have 3 or 4 quilt projects in mind to start once all of that is done.

If I keep myself busy, maybe I won't go insane...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and has a wonderful New Year.

I got lots of wonderful quilting supplies for Christmas, so I hope to start churning out some new quilts after things settle down.

I also got some canvases to paint some stuff to put in my husband's office. I don't know what I'm going to paint, though. He works in a bank, so I guess it would need to be something fairly classy. I'm just not sure what to paint, though. I thought about trying to try the suggestions in the feng shui book I've been reading, especially emphasizing on the wealth corridor. But the dominant color for "wealth" in feng shui is purple, and my husband wouldn't appreciate that.

Anyway... This isn't really a very productive journal entry, I guess. I really just wanted to get the last entry off my front page and wish everyone a good new year.
